Handmade Pottery Vase featuring a multicolor surface decoration

Ceramic Vase, Flower Vase, Home Décor, Handmade Pottery This ceramic vessel was made with a high quality white stoneware and was creating using the slab technique. An intricate pattern was then applied to the piece to be later highlighted by the finishing glaze. This particular pattern is inspired by the where's Waldo collage villages. After the initial firing, blue, green, purple and black underglazes were applied and then wiped back to create a rich surface decoration and to highlight the texture that was added earlier. The vessel was then finished with a rich sapphire blue glaze sealing the entire piece and making it safe to hold water. This piece would make a great flower vase, utensil holder for the kitchen, or a statement piece for your home décor. The vessel is a large cylinder that measures 12” tall and 5.5” wide.
